How to Enter
No purchase is necessary. To enter without purchase, entrants must submit a hand-written request along with an original one thousand (1,000) word essay explaining why they would like to experience the Just Hunt Grouse Camp Experience and what the outdoors means to them. Entries must be mailed through Canada Post and received by Just Hunt Inc. prior to the contest closing date or before all supporter entries are sold out, whichever occurs first.
Customers who purchase an official Just Hunt Grouse Camp supporter package online at justhunt.ca will automatically receive the corresponding number of entries into the contest.
For online entries, entries will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder associated with the email address used at the time of purchase. The authorized account holder is defined as the individual assigned to the email account by the organization responsible for the domain associated with the submitted email address.
Entrants may enter an unlimited number of times while supporter entries remain available.
Contest Period
Contest start and end dates will be posted at justhunt.ca for each contest campaign or until all available supporter entries are sold out.
Eligibility
The contest is open to all Canadian residents, excluding residents of Quebec, who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry.
Current employees of Just Hunt Inc. are not eligible to enter.
All winners must possess any legally required hunting licenses, outdoors cards, firearms licenses, or certifications necessary to participate in hunting activities in Ontario prior to attending the experience.
Prize
The prize includes two (2) spots in the Just Hunt Grouse Camp Experience hosted in Northern Ontario.
Prize inclusions and approximate retail value will be posted at justhunt.ca and may include:
- 3-day guided grouse hunting camp
- Accommodations
- Primary meals
- Professional outdoor photography
- Featured appearance in a Just Hunt Productions episode
- Behind-the-scenes camp life experience
- Time in the field alongside the Just Hunt crew
Transportation to and from the experience location is not included unless otherwise stated.
Awarding the Prize
Winners will be selected through a random live draw once supporter entries are sold out or at the advertised contest closing date. The draw may be broadcast live through Just Hunt Inc. social media platforms.
Selected winners will be contacted within 48 hours of the draw by phone or email.
If a selected winner cannot be reached within thirty (30) days of the initial contact attempt, declines the prize, or fails to meet eligibility requirements, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.
Selected winners may be required to:
- Present valid government-issued photo identification
- Successfully answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question
- Sign liability waivers, media releases, and participation agreements prior to attending the experience
General Rules
The prize must be accepted as awarded and is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
Just Hunt Inc. reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest in the event of technical failures, unauthorized intervention, or any circumstance that affects the proper administration of the contest.
All personal information collected by Just Hunt Inc. will only be used for contest administration, promotional purposes related to the contest, and communication regarding future Just Hunt campaigns.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
Participants acknowledge that hunting and outdoor activities involve inherent risks. By accepting the prize, winners agree to participate at their own risk and release Just Hunt Inc., its affiliates, sponsors, partners, guides, and property owners from liability arising from participation in the experience.
The contest is subject to all applicable Federal, Provincial, and Municipal laws and regulations. Rules may be updated at any time to comply with applicable laws.
By Participating, Each Entrant Agrees:
- To be bound by all contest rules outlined above
- To permit Just Hunt Inc. to use their name, likeness, photographs, and video footage for promotional and publicity purposes without additional compensation
- To sign any required declaration, waiver, or release documentation prior to participation in the experience
