"My name is Cameron Tait and I live in Winnipeg.  I'm an avid angler and a casual hunter and love everything about the outdoors.  I stumbled across your show on the Sportsman Channel and was pleasantly surprised. As a former Culinary Educator, success in teaching is about getting the attention of the students and keeping it for more than 45 seconds, this is difficult unless the topic is very interesting. This is where your show comes into the picture.  "What is going to happen next", I kept asking with intrigue?  Who is this girl and why is she so easy to listen to?  "Is she going to get this turkey"??  But the great attribute about the show was the journey. Was it just about the hunt? No it wasn't, it was clearly more than that. In education, this is called, "Hook and Hold". Get their attention and keep it for a certain duration. Does it always work...no, but when it does, it was a great class.  The narration was clear, exhibiting various levels of excitement, this keeps the viewer watching.  Throw in an impromptu snow storm, a difficult blind blowing in the unsuspecting wind, a feeding chipmunk plus a whole lot of serenity.  In times where the viewer is always looking to see what else is on TV, you kept me watching for the entire 30 minutes.  What is the added bonus to this? I listened to the commercials and pondered new purchases...period, a solid win when it comes to advertising value. Well done Amanda, keep up the great work...you are obviously a positive role model for men, women, girls, boys, young and old.   A "new and lasting viewer"."
