HUNT FOR THE CURE - the Legacy foundation

Philanthropy as defined in the dictionary is "the desire to promote the welfare of others, expressed especially by the generous donation of money to good causes."  This is something that has resonated with Amanda Lynn since her career began in the media back in 2002, (due to the lack of support when she, herself was diagnosed with Graves' Disease) first with her ad-free fitness magazine, followed by her generosity of hosting and organizing many charitable events to raise awareness for rare diseases.

with many supporters in the media and the industry, Amanda Lynn was able to raise thousands of dollars for these foundations as well as becoming a Miracle Maker for the Progeria Foundation. 

Her son, Brady Mayhew followed in her footsteps to organize his own charity event, Skate for Heart - after he was a graduate of Sick Kids Hospital for his Congenital Heart Condition. 

To amalgamate the events and support other foundations the legacy of 'Hunt for a Cure' in memory of her parents, was born. 

The mission is to raise awareness to help foundations more specifically the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada, with their funding through fun events such as Galas, 5K Marathons, and ATV Rides.
